Maria is an award-winning lawyer and the Founder of Rigoli Lawyers. Spanning a career of over 32 years she has dealt with many complex family law disputes. Family law
Family law case where the husband was bankrupt and his trustee in bankruptcy was claiming the property owned by him which would have left the wife with nothing. The wife had nothing to do with his debts that were run up as a result of gambling. Acting for the wife Maria was able to secure a good property settlement first and then the trustee in bankruptcy was only able to claim and take the husband’s smaller percentage out of the family law division made by the Family Court.
Family law case where there are complex business structures requiring untangling of information and subpoena of documents and information not disclosed by the other spouse.
Spousal maintenance
Spousal maintenance cases where the client does not have funds to start the family law case and cannot support herself/himself on current income but the other spouse has a high income.
